With so much happening in the sharing scene lately, we wanted to share our own new button designs and get your thoughts. We’re rolling out a new way to showcase how valuable your content is – called “Social Reach” – and some new button looks. Take our quick, 3-question survey here.
The Widget Gets an 80% Size Reduction
Based on your feedback, we’ve re-written the widget from scratch to drastically reduce its size and improve performance. We’re now in staging with the lighter widget, and are happy to report an 80% size reduction. We’ve also reduced the number of calls by 60%. If you want to start testing this code, email support@sharethis.com and we’ll email you the host file setting. (If you help us find a bug, there’s a Chuck Norris T-shirt headed your way!)
